Are Ariel stain remover powders and spray safe for all fabrics?
Ariel Stain removers are safe for colourfast washable fabrics. If you’re unsure about the fabric, we suggest testing an inside seam for colourfastness. Always wash the garment according to care tag instructions and never use on any garment bearing the Do Not Bleach or equivalent symbol. If you require added assurance for coloured fabrics, please use stain remover powder specifically for coloured fabrics.

Is Ariel Stain Powder/Stain Spray suitable for use on wool and silk garments?
Ariel Stain Removers are suitable for use on mixed fibres, but we would not recommend using them on delicate pure wools and silks, leather, upholstery, dry clean only garments or finished/ coated surfaces.

Do Ariel stain remover powders and spray work on all stains?
Ariel stain removers work on a wide range of stains including fresh food and drink stains, ketchup, BBQ sauce, fruit juice, tomato juice, coffee, chocolate, tea and wine. Some stains may need a repeat application.

I've used the Ariel stain remover powders and spray and it hasn't worked.
Some stains can be harder than others to remove and may require more than one treatment.

Ariel stain removers do not contain chlorine bleach. Instead, it uses an oxygen based formula, which helps to remove stains in the wash.

Due to the nature of the products, preservatives are not required.

All the packaging used for the Ariel range is recyclable but please check with your local authority to ensure that they can handle these materials. With regard to the stain remover tubs we use 20% recycled content. The stain spray bottle contains 30% recycled content.

This laundry cleanser will not discolour fabrics and can be used on most everyday fabrics and some delicates.

Does Ariel Laundry Cleanser kill all bacteria and viruses?
Ariel laundry cleanser kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses* from your laundry even at low temperatures. Please follow usage instructions on back of pack. In wash usage kills 99.9% of bacteria. Our laundry cleanser meets British Standards BSEN 1276: 2009, EN 14476: 2013 + A1:2015.

Yes, Ariel Laundry Cleanser will eliminate odour causing bacteria.

Yes, Ariel Laundry Cleanser is a laundry additive to kill 99.9% of bacteria during the rinse cycle. Therefore, you can use your preferred detergent and stain remover and wash as normal.

Can I use Ariel Laundry Cleanser with fabric conditioner?
Yes, Ariel Laundry Cleanser can be used with your preferred fabric conditioner.

What preservative is used in the Ariel Laundry Cleanser?
Laurylamine Dipropylenediamine. Per 100g contains: 1.2g of Didecyldimethylammonium Chloride.

Is Fairy Non Bio Wool & Delicates safe for all fabrics?
Fairy Non Bio Wool & Delicates is a carefully formulated mild detergent, for wool and delicates, suitable for wool, silk, cotton, microfibres and mixed fabrics. Fairy Non Bio Wool & Delicates is safe to use on all fabric that are suitable for washing, however for heavy-duty fabrics we recommend using Fairy Non Bio detergents, liquids, gels, pods or powder.

Can I use Fairy Non Bio Wool & Delicates on whites and colours?
Yes, Fairy Non Bio Wool and Delicates does not contain any kind of bleaching agents and is kind and gentle to both white and coloured delicate fabrics.

Will Fairy Non Bio Wool & Delicates stop my jumpers from going fuzzy?
Fairy Non Bio Wool & Delicates has been specifically formulated to clean, protect and renew the fibres in wool and other delicate fabrics. Our special care formula prevents the shortening and breakage of the fibres that happens during washing, keeping your delicate garments in shape and prevents bobbling to keep your woollens looking good for as long as possible.

Can I wash cashmere with Fairy Non Bio Wool & Delicates?
If the label on your garment states it can be washed as opposed to dry clean only, then Fairy Non Bio Wool & Delicates is suitable to use.

If your products are heavily stained and colour fast, then we recommend pre-soaking your garment for 30 minutes prior to wash. As Fairy Non Bio Wool & Delicates has been developed as a mild detergent, it is suitable for using neat on tougher stains prior to washing as normal.
